Introducing the debut of the Short North Wedding Walk. On Thursday October 22nd, seven premier wedding specialists will share and showcase their expertise.
This promenade is the bridal brain trust of the Short North Wedding Collective. From gowns to gifts to photos and floral, these independent female entrepreneurs offer the best of service for the city’s modern bride.
Chic boutiques include Big Rock Little Rooster, an emporium of designer gowns including the coveted Vera Wang; On Paper, a custom stationer where modern classics are coupled with eco-chic offerings; and Collier West, the eclectic home décor and gift store that defines “I Do.” Nestled in the midst of these Short North destinations, Rose Bredl provides timeless flowers where your senses will be further titillated.
The Short North Wedding Walk will feature informative tips from planning expert Kasey Skobel-Conyers of Bliss Weddings and Event Design and Amy Carruthers of C Studios, a local illustrative photographer.
Each of these local wedding experts offers creativity, style and intimate customer service. “I have been catering to Columbus brides for over a decade,” states On Paper’s Joan Schnee. “The recent addition of Bakery Gingham and Big Rock Little Rooster, has finally topped the cake. The Short North officially has become a marital destination.”
Wedding enthusiasts will intimately gather at each of the Collective’s locations, gathering details, best practices and expert advice on planning the perfect nuptials. The evening will conclude at the new location of Bakery Gingham, where a taste and a toast to life and love will be shared.
