Well we have started the New Year off right, we found a Photographer Amanda Julca that we LOVE


We have mailed out a good bit of our save the dates…and my wedding planner, Bliss events, has made a tentative wedding day schedule.

It’s all coming together!!
This weekend my sister, mother and myself are attended the 2010 Bridal Show in Columbus, Ohio.
Should be pretty interesting, a bunch a vendors shoving cake and photo albums in your face. The Isle ways full of Bridzellas and screaming babies.
Due to all of the wedding scheduling that I have been doing I have hardly had a moment to think about what my new year’s resolutions will be for 2010.
Honestly I just started to list my resolutions ….and they are all so trivial.
My new year’s resolution for 2010 is to live my life to the fullest while maintaining an amazing relationship with the love of my life, family and work!!!!
PS IM GETTING MARRIED IN 2010 what’s not to love about that!!!!!!<3

I admire the DIY Bride: most likely because I will never be one

So as I mentioned in an earlier post I’m going to meet with a wedding planner.
For some reason just the thought of this has made me feel like a calmer person, the idea that I might have an advocate. Most of you that know me know that when given the opportunity to throw a party I make it an event when given a budget I stretch it ..And any time I have the opportunity to be in the spot light I take it!

Well here is OUR spotlight... No it’s not a hair show or a DJ on crack or a turntable battle.. And it most certainly is revolving around a bag of dehydrated meat it’s our wedding.

By us having a wedding planner I fell that it will make this day a celebration of (I know this will sound totally cheesy) our life thus far, our relationship, and our future! I feel like they will help me get my plethora of kooky and perverted ideas out and translate them into a wonderful story for everyone to enjoy.
But I need some suggestions any questions that you advise me to ask about……..

I was thinking about a pallet of Yellow and Gray ......
i know those are typically spring wedding colors
But i find something sweet about it
any suggestions .... should i wait till i get my venue to see what colors would work???
any suggestions on venues ???

Wedding planning

My boyfriend - i guess i should call him my fiance and i just got engaged on September 20t 2009 at eagle lake at Lake Tahoe. It was very exciting and yes was surprised and a blubbering mess.
After he proposed and i was blowing snot bubbles out of my nose like a Chihuly Chandler i realized how extremely nervous i was.

I was nervous about planning the wedding

Where do you even begin ...how do you know what format to make the excel spread sheet in for your guests
how many people is to many
how soon after we are engaged do we have to start planning
Do we get engagement photos
who hosts the engagement party
what do you do if your parents are divorced
why cant i have two photographers
where do we have it
when do we have it
How much is to much
A rabbi or a friend
Since the wedding will be sometime in the fall do i have to use fall colors


it makes me want to pluck my eyelashes out
